Keepthebeat Update

We felt very honoured to be invited to the Earl Shilton Flower Club to be presented with a cheque for £500! We were the clubs charity of the year. The monies raised were from various raffles throughout the last year. Thank you to everyone, we felt very welcomed and hope you all feel proud of what you’ve achieved for the chd families we support. 💙❤️

Keepthebeat Update

We would like to say a huge thank you to all who contributed towards the £648.25 raised for The Tom Meynell Boxing Day match held at the Syston Rugby Club.
Tom was a huge supporter of Keepthebeat- we met him and his family on many occasions at the charity balls held. Also he would take part in the kTB Santa walk with his son Rowan( who raised lots of money) brother of Corwin who has a complex heart condition. Thoughts and a thanks to all of his family. 💙❤️xx

Merry Christmas to all of our lovely supporters! 🎅🏼💙❤️we hope you all have a a special day with your loved ones xx

Today, there are lots of babies/ children/ teenagers in hospital that unfortunately cannot be at home with their families! 🥲
Santa and his lovely helper will deliver hampers to the cardiac ward and Picu at the Leicester royal infirmary! We are sure they will love them and appreciate the vouchers in there for both patients and parents- we hope they raise some smiles xx

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all Santa walkers, Xmas card donations, fundraisers….. all of your money has helped Keepthebeat to provide these- you are all amazing! 💙❤️xx

We always feel so lucky to be able to do the grotto on the ward- thanks to all fundraisers and donations!
Santa walkers
Santa walk donators
Santa Marshall’s
Christmas card donators
The Hinckley and Burbage Lions Club fundraiser

Annita and lesley( playworker, who we cannot thank enough for continued support ) spent Saturday adding some magic to the teenage room-I think we can safely say it’s now a grotto!

The grotto has already been enjoyed by some very happy patients! 💙❤️

(Christmas Day Hampers to follow)

Thank you all xx 🤶🎅🏼

Keepthebeat Update

Our first year back saw 100 Santa’s walking 3 miles around the village of Burbage.
Lots of smiles along the way, even in the pouring rain! We had a lovely sing song at Moat House Care Home Burbage- thanks Cathy for organising xx

Lots of amazing Marshall’s helped the walk to go very smoothly- mince stop and choc stop at Em and Sam’s house!
Huge thanks to The Sycamores Inn – Burbage and The Anchor Inn Burbage for accommodating us!
The food hamper at the anchor was won by Linda WhiteHouse xx
The day raised a huge £3,000 which will all be going towards the Christmas grotto and the Christmas Day hampers- so everyone who attended the walk or donated to the event will have made such a big difference already to the families affected by CHD!
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts xx
Photos will follow…

Any Santas who took part please send us your photos xx 🤶💙❤️🎅🏼
